Job summary

Gills Point S Tire in Caldwell, ID seeks an experienced Lead Automotive Service Advisor to guide the customer experience, mentor teammates and drive shop profitability. You’ll balance sales, service knowledge and strong communication to help customers make informed decisions.

You’ll collaborate with technicians and the Service Center Manager to maintain workflow, deliver timely estimates, and uphold a consistent, high‑quality service standard for a busy tire and automotive shop.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of customer service experience within automotive/tire industry.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or training others preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the service experience.
• Listen to customer concerns, understand needs, and recommend tire, maintenance, and repair services.
• Explain services, pricing, and timelines clearly to customers.
• Build lasting relationships through knowledgeable, professional service.
• Identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services based on vehicle condition.
• Handle questions professionally and work toward effective resolutions.
• Follow up regarding recommendations, status, and completed work.
