Job summary

Gills Point S Tire is hiring an Automotive Service Advisor to join a fast-paced shop. You will greet customers, assess vehicle needs, describe tire and maintenance options, and build trust through honest recommendations. You’ll connect customers with technicians, prepare estimates, and follow up on repairs to ensure satisfaction.

The role emphasizes selling value, coordinating service, and maintaining clear records while upholding safety and quality standards in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service experience in an automotive, tire, or related service environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of automotive maintenance, tire services, preventative maintenance, and light mechanical repairs.
• Technical or vocational automotive training is a plus.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to build customer trust and confidently recommend products and services.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to pursue TIA Certification with company support.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with professionalism and create a welcoming service experience.
• Listen to customer concerns and perform walk-arounds to identify needs.
• Prepare accurate estimates and explain recommended tires, maintenance, and repairs.
• Coordinate service appointments and manage workflow to maximize shop productivity.
• Order tires and maintain awareness of inventory to support customer needs.
• Process invoices and review completed work with customers.
• Maintain accurate customer records and repair documentation.
• Contribute to a positive team environment focused on customer satisfaction.
