Job summary

Pep Boys in Fort Walton Beach, FL is seeking a Master Technician with extensive automotive diagnostic experience to lead a shop team and educate customers on problems and proposed solutions. The role focuses on drivability, A/C, electrical systems and maintaining customer satisfaction.

The candidate will have 5+ years of repair experience, ASE certifications (8+ preferred) and Section 609 certification, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of automotive diagnosis and repair experience.
• 8+ ASE certifications preferred (A1–A8).
• Section 609 Certification.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition/electrical, suspension/align.*
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers or staff when needed.
• Mentor and support fellow technicians within the shop.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and compliant work environment.
