Job summary

Sunrock is seeking an Asphalt Production Supervisor to oversee daily asphalt production, quality control, maintenance and safety at the assigned North Carolina site. The role requires coordinating with the production manager and leading a team to ensure efficient operations.

The candidate should have a High School diploma or GED, with 1–2 years of related experience; an Associate degree is preferred. Proficiency with safety protocols and plant systems is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of related experience or training; other combinations may be considered.
• Ability to read and interpret safety regulations and procedures in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily asphalt production, quality control, maintenance, safety and personnel at the site.
• Manage routine maintenance scheduling and respond to unscheduled repairs.
• Monitor batching and weighment workflows (Astec Weighmate TC 2000) and dispatch asphalt/aggregates in Integra.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and NCDOT guidelines.
• Prepare regular production reports and mentor site staff.
• Coordinate with the Asphalt Production Manager and other company functions as needed.
