Job summary

Blythe Construction seeks an experienced on-site supervisor to oversee asphalt plant operations, lead a plant crew, and ensure safety and quality on a busy site in Kings Mountain, NC. The role requires coordinating daily production, enforcing procedures, and maintaining records and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of asphalt plant experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to communicate clearly with site supervisors and workers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must understand work directions and communicate effectively with supervisors and crew.
• 3–5 years or more of industry-related experience, emphasis on asphalt plants.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, training and assistance to a plant crew.
• Monitor progress to meet time schedules and optimize utilization of workers and equipment.
• Discuss production needs daily with Area Manager or Superintendent.
