Job summary

Sunrock in Roxboro, NC is seeking an Asphalt Production Supervisor to oversee daily asphalt production, quality control, maintenance, safety, and personnel at the facility. This role supports the Asphalt Production Manager and resolves unscheduled maintenance issues.

The position requires flexibility to work days, early mornings, nights, weekends, and up to 10% overnight travel. Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, a NC driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a weighmaster

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; AA preferred.
• 1–2 years related experience; other combinations considered.
• Current North Carolina Driver’s License.
• Ability to obtain weighmaster license.
• Strong reading, writing and communication in English.
• Proficient math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily asphalt production and monitor batch controls.
• Ensure quality control, environmental compliance and safety.
• Train and mentor facility staff on operations and procedures.
• Schedule maintenance; troubleshoot equipment and repairs.
• Communicate with management and teams to optimize efficiency.
