Job summary

Sundance Consultants, part of True Environmental, seeks an Archaeologist PI/Project Manager to lead cultural resource field crews in the Pacific Northwest and expand archaeology services. You will oversee NHPA Section 106/110 tasks, coordinate with clients and agencies, and mentor staff.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Archaeology or Anthropology, senior supervisory experience, and US work eligibility, with knowledge of federal/state cultural resource regulations.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology or a related field.
  • Minimum five years of supervisory experience in cultural resource positions; ten years preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Registered Professional Archaeologist status is required or must be obtainable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cultural resources projects and manage field studies and teams.
  • Develop proposals with scope, schedule and budget; coordinate with clients and agencies.
  • Mentor junior staff and coordinate with project managers.
  • Oversee compliance with NHPA sections 106/110 and related regulations.
  • Coordinate project mobilization/demobilization; monitor budget and invoicing.
