Job summary

Sundance Consultants, a part of True Environmental and its partner firms, seeks an Archaeologist PI/Project Manager to lead cultural resources field crews and expand archaeology services in the Pacific Northwest. You will develop work plans, manage all phases of investigations under NHPA sections 106/110, and aid in permitting actions with NEPA integration.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology or related field.
  • Minimum five years of supervisory experience in cultural resources fields.
  • Familiarity with GPS technology and ability to use it in remote locations.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while staying organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cultural resources projects and field crews, including management of archaeological and historic resources projects.
  • Oversee proposal development including scope, schedule and budget.
  • Coordinate with clients and regulators across the region.
  • Assist with invoicing, staff management, and budget tracking.
