Job summary

Sundance Consultants, a part of True Environmental, seeks an Archaeologist PI/PM to lead cultural resources field crews and expand archaeology services in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. You will develop work, lead all phases of cultural resource investigations under NHPA sections 106 and 110, and coordinate with clients and agency representatives.

The role supervises junior staff, reviews regulatory requirements, and contributes to proposals, data recovery plans, and report writing

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology or a related field.
• Minimum five years of supervisory experience in cultural resources; ten years preferred.
• Able to use GPS technology in remote locations.
• Able to meet deadlines, stay organized and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; professional writing and problem solving.
• Proficiency with MS Office; strong people skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the US and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead cultural resources projects, field crews and develop work plans.
• Lead proposal development including scope, schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with clients and agency/tribal representatives.
• Invoicing, staff management and budget tracking.
• Manage data recovery, monitoring, testing and report preparation.
• Coordinate project mobilization and demobilization at sites.
• Support NHPA Section 106 and 110 analyses and permitting.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure quality reviews of deliverables.
