Job summary

FIS is seeking an Analyst Lead, Application Maintenance & Support to provide technical leadership within the DevOps and Application Support organization. You will maintain complex application environments, partner with internal teams and clients, resolve issues, and drive improvements to reliability and efficiency.

The role emphasizes collaboration across development, infrastructure, and business teams with a focus on operational excellence and client success.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Extensive experience in application support, production support, DevOps, or related technical disciplines.
Proven experience troubleshooting complex technical issues in enterprise environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to perform root cause analysis.
Experience working cross-functionally with development, infrastructure, and business teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead troubleshooting and resolution of high-impact application and production support issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to support upgrades, enhancements, and defect remediation.
Drive automation initiatives and process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
Monitor application performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge base articles.
Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and operational standards.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
Support client implementations, upgrades, and ongoing operational activities.
