Job summary

FIS in the United States is seeking an Analyst Lead, Application Maintenance & Support to join our DevOps and Application Support organization. You will provide technical leadership, drive operational excellence, and ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications.

You will partner with internal teams and clients to resolve issues, improve processes, and enhance system reliability, leading troubleshooting and coordinating across development,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive experience in application support, production support, DevOps, or related technical disciplines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
• Experience working cross-functionally with development, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of high-impact application and production support issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to support upgrades, enhancements, and defect remediation.
• Drive automation initiatives and process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
• Monitor application performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and operational standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
• Support client implementations, upgrades, and ongoing operational activities.
