Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Flammability Engineer to ensure interior component compliance with federal standards for aircraft modifications. This onsite role is based in Winston-Salem, NC, and involves leading cross-functional teams through testing, analysis, and certification activities.

Requirements include a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience (or an advanced degree with 3+ years), and knowledge of TSO/PMA/STC processes.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree with 5+ years' experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years' experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership with cross-functional teams in engineering, certification, and program management.
• Conduct testing, analysis, and design reviews to show compliance with 14 CFR 25.853/25.869/25.1713 and related standards.
• Generate and review compliance plans for TSO, PMA, and STC approvals.
• Participate in training to grow talent and process development.
• Review projects for feasibility, cost, and lead-time.
• Collaborate across the organization to uphold and advance company values.
