Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated seeks an experienced Aircraft Mechanic III - Avionics/Electrician at Mountain Home AFB to lead a maintenance team, supervise complex tasks, and ensure mission readiness.

You will perform and inspect work, act as a certifying inspector, troubleshoot avionics and electrical systems, and mentor junior mechanics while coordinating schedules to meet delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Proven track record in leading and supervising maintenance crews.
• Thorough knowledge of avionics/electrical systems and airframe components.
• Experience as final inspector over lower-level technicians.
• Strong ability to prioritize workloads and meet production timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mechanics through complex maintenance workflows and inspections.
• Act as certifying inspector with sign-off power.
• Direct troubleshooting, repair, and testing of avionics, electronics, and wiring networks.
• Repair aircraft structures, flight controls, structures, and engines with high complexity.
• Provide technical support to engineers and customers.
• Interpret data, blueprints, schematics, and changes to solve issues.
• Train teams on diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Enforce compliance and document aircraft logs and records.
