Job summary

Karsun Solutions, LLC is seeking a Lead Automation Test Engineer who will lead AI-enabled test automation initiatives for the QA team, driving speed, quality, and efficiency. You will guide migration from Selenium to Playwright, develop reusable AI-assisted templates, and coach a team of senior automation engineers while delivering on customer commitments.

The role requires hands-on automation leadership across functional, integration, and API testing, with strong experience in AI testing tools

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
8-10 years of related experience with at least 5 years in hands-on test automation.
Experience leading automation teams, planning, follow-up and delivering customer commitments.

Responsibilities

Lead and drive a team of senior automation engineers to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Own delivery of customer commitments and communicate deviations to the customer.
Lead AI enablement for QA/testing and evaluate AI tools to improve productivity.
Establish reusable prompt templates and AI-assisted workflows for test generation and migration.
Modernize Selenium automation and migrate to Playwright with AI-assisted tooling.
Provide hands-on automation leadership across functional, API, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Analyze regression suites to reduce flaky tests and long cycles.
Identify automation coverage gaps from requirements and guide the team to close them.
Explain and defend AI/tool/framework decisions to customers.
