Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years overall with 5+ years in test automation.
• Proven experience leading automation teams and delivering customer commitments.
• Hands-on with AI-enabled testing tools.
• Experience creating prompt libraries and AI workflows for testing.
• Experience with Selenium/WebDriver, Playwright, Cucumber/Gherkin, JUnit, TestNG.
• Experience with API testing tools and automation strategies.
• Strong programming in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum; SAFe preferred.
• Public Trust clearance eligibility and EST hours availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of senior automation engineers and assign tasks for timely delivery.
• Own delivery of customer commitments and manage deviations.
• Evaluate, pilot, and implement AI tools to improve productivity.
• Create reusable AI prompts and migration templates for Selenium to Playwright.
• Modernize Selenium automation suite and migrate to Playwright.
• Provide hands-on leadership for end-to-end testing and API testing.
• Analyze regression suites to reduce flaky tests and long cycles.
• Identify automation coverage gaps from requirements and user stories.
• Explain and defend AI/tool decisions to customers.
• Prototype and demonstrate value through PoCs and working automation.
• Coach engineers on AI tooling, Playwright, and testing standards.
