Job summary

Karsun Solutions, LLC is seeking a Lead Automation Test Engineer to lead a hands-on, customer-facing QA team focused on AI-assisted testing. You will drive AI tool adoption, migrate Selenium to Playwright, and optimize regression suites while upholding commitments to customers.

You will coach senior engineers, establish reusable prompt templates, and collaborate across development, product, and operations in a SAFe environment to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/Engineering/IS.
• 8–10 years of related experience, including at least 5 years hands-on test automation.
• Experience leading automation teams and delivering on customer commitments.
• Hands-on experience with AI-enabled testing tools (e.g., Testim, mabl, Functionize, Applitools, Copilot, ChatGPT).
• Experience creating prompt libraries, AI usage standards, or repeatable AI-assisted workflows.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver/Grid, Playwright, Cucumber/Gherkin, JUnit, TestNG.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman and REST Assured.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of automation engineers to deliver high-quality results on schedule.
• Own delivery of customer commitments and communicate deviations proactively.
• Evaluate, pilot, and implement AI tools to improve productivity and quality.
• Create reusable prompts and AI-assisted workflows for test generation and migration to Playwright.
• Modernize Selenium automation with Playwright and reusable framework patterns.
• Provide hands-on automation leadership for multiple test types.
• Analyze regression suites to reduce flaky tests and long cycles.
• Explain and defend AI tool choices and migration strategies to customers.
• Mentor QA engineers on AI tooling, Playwright, and testing standards.
