Job summary

EY seeks an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to guide a team of domain experts in designing and implementing AI Agent Control. You will lead architectures for agent identity, authentication, and post-training environments, while advancing federated learning and multiagent tooling.

This role blends hands-on development with strategic leadership in a fast-paced AI-focused environment. You will collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure teams to deliver scalable solutions,

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with multi-agent system administration and modern secrets management.
• Use of AI native software development tools / code assist.
• Familiarity with scripting languages and software languages (Python, Bash, Typescript, Go, Rust, Java).
• Understand AI Native design process and principles.
• Experience with cryptographic methods of identity and auth.
• Experience with modern IDEs and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design of control harness intelligence systems for multiagent setups.
• Architect agent identity and authentication for large-scale systems.
• Create post-training and tuning environments for agents.
• Develop synthesis models for open-source AI models.
• Implement benchmarks to evaluate agents against human-designed evals.
• Lead the AI Agent control framework development.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infra experts to balance outcomes.
• Support business development activities for emerging technology.
