Job summary

EY is hiring an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design and implement memory architectures and data fabrics for enterprise AI. You will lead a team of AI Architects, shape context systems, and drive scalable AI solutions across complex projects.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, mentoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, with a hybrid, client-focused work model across the US.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Experience with AI native software development tools/code assist.
• Familiarity with Python, Bash, Go, Rust, Java.
• Understanding of AI native design process and principles.
• Deep understanding of model fine tuning and customization through context management.
• Experience with CI/CD and modern code hosting platforms.
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems to be replicated across AI-native designed systems.
• Design context systems including RAG and semantic search capabilities.
• Implement and benchmark architectures against agent and human evaluations.
• Create replicable integration frameworks for memory architectures across systems.
• Lead design requirements and drive AI-native design processes.
• Research emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure teams to ensure practical outcomes.
• Support strategic business development activities and IP filings.
• Mentor Knowledge/Data team members and contribute hands-on coding.
• Lead a group of experts in building Knowledge and data systems for Knowledge AI.
