Job summary

EY is hiring an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design memory architectures and data fabrics for enterprise AI. You will lead a team of AI Architects and shape multi-agent memory systems across platforms. Locations can be Anywhere in the United States.

The role requires deep expertise in RAG, context management, inference optimization, and model synthesis; you’ll collaborate across security, data, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable solutions and mentor engineers.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer science or mathematics.
• 10+ years of software engineering and AI experience.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Proficient in AI native tools/code assist and modern IDEs.
• Familiar with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and Go/Rust/Java.
• Understanding of model fine-tuning and context management (RAG/SFT/LoRA).
• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps and collaboration tools.
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems to be replicated across AI-native platforms.
• Design context systems including RAG and semantic search capabilities.
• Implement and test architectures, benchmarking against agent and human evals.
• Create replication-friendly integration frameworks for memory architectures.
• Drive agent design requirements and execute through AI-native design processes.
• Research emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure teams for practical outcomes.
• Support business development activities and present at academic conferences.
• Hands-on coding and mentoring Knowledge/Data team members.
• Lead experts in building Knowledge and data systems for Knowledge AI.
