Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design memory architectures and data fabrics for complex enterprise use cases. Lead a team of AI Architects, focusing on multi-agent systems, RAG, semantic chunking, and scalable inference.

You will mentor engineers, shape architecture strategies, and collaborate across AI, Security, Data and Infra teams to deliver high-impact solutions in a hybrid work model. Exceptional communication and leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, CS or Math.
• 10+ years in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Familiarity with AI native tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Python, Bash and modern software languages (Go, Rust, Java).
• Understanding AI Native design processes and principles.
• Experience with model fine tuning and context management (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT).
• CI/CD, Git/GitLab/Azure DevOps; Nvidia NVAIE and Azure stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems to be replicated across AI-native designs.
• Design context systems including RAG and semantic chunking with search.
• Implement and test architectures, benchmark against evals.
• Create replicable integration frameworks for memory architectures across systems.
• Drive agent design requirements through AI-native design processes.
• Research emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infra teams for balanced outcomes.
• Support business development for emerging tech; present at conferences.
• Hands-on coding and mentoring Knowledge/Data team members.
• Lead experts in building Knowledge and data systems for Knowledge AI.
