Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design and implement memory architectures and data fabrics for complex enterprise use cases. You will lead a team of AI Architects, focusing on multi-agent memory systems, RAG, and semantic chunking, while shaping scalable AI solutions.

The role demands hands-on coding, leadership, and collaboration with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure experts to deliver practical outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics is required.
• 10+ years of software engineering and AI experience.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Familiarity with AI native development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and languages such as Go, Rust, Java.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems for replication across AI-native designs.
• Develop context systems with RAG, semantic chunking, and search capabilities.
• Implement, test, and benchmark architectures against AI/eval references.
• Create integrable memory architecture frameworks across multiple systems.
• Guide AI-native design processes and mentor team members.
• Explore emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals; contribute to IP filings.
