Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design and implement AI memory architectures and data fabrics for complex enterprise use cases. You will lead a team of AI Architects and collaborate across AI, Security, Data, and Infrastructure to deliver scalable AI solutions.

Responsibilities include designing memory architectures for multi-agent systems, RAG context systems, benchmarking, and driving integration frameworks.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Familiarity with AI native software development tools / code assist (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and languages (Go, Rust, Java).
• Understand AI Native design process and principles.
• Deep understanding of model fine tuning and context management (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and code hosting (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems to be replicated across AI native designed systems.
• Design of context systems including RAG and Skills with semantic chunking and search.
• Implement and test these architectures benchmarking performance against agent and human designed evals.
• Design replicable integration frameworks for memory architecture across multiple systems.
• Drive agent design requirements and implement through AI Native design process.
• Assess emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals through primary and secondary research.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure to ensure balanced outcomes.
• Present at academic conferences and support IP filings.
• Hands-on coding and mentoring other members of the Knowledge/Data team.
• Lead a group of experts in building Knowledge and data systems for Knowledge AI.
