Job summary

EY seeks an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design and implement memory architectures and data fabrics for complex enterprise use cases. You will lead a team of AI Architects and guide the development of scalable Knowledge AI across diverse systems.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in software engineering and AI, strong leadership, and hands-on expertise in AI frontier models, memory architectures, and multi-agent design patterns. EY offers a hybrid model and strong Total Rewards.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of software engineering and AI experience.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Familiarity with AI native development tools and code assistants (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and software languages (Go, Rust, Java).
• Understanding of AI native design processes and context management (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT).
• Experience with CI/CD, modern code hosting (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems to be replicated across AI-native systems.
• Develop context systems with RAG, semantic chunking, and search capabilities.
• Implement and test architectures, benchmarking against AI and human evaluations.
• Create replicable integration frameworks for memory architectures across systems.
• Lead design requirements and drive AI-native development processes.
• Research emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data, and Infrastructure domains for practical outcomes.
• Support strategic business development and contribute to IP filings.
• Provide hands-on coding and mentor Knowledge/Data team members.
• Lead a team of experts in building Knowledge and data systems for Knowledge AI.
