Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Lead Project Engineer – Aerospace to drive new product development in fluid power and motion control. You'll collaborate with designers, engineers, fabrication, and IPTs to deliver robust aerospace components and ensure compliance with engineering standards.

This on‑site role requires strong leadership, CAE‑driven design, and effective communication with internal and external customers to meet schedules, budgets, and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution required.
• Minimum five years of Mechanical and Project Engineering experience in product design.
• Experience with 3D CAD software and cross‑functional IPT teams.
• ITAR compliance and proximity to LA/OC area required; no relocation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical design, analysis, and guidance for new product development and improvements.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to design, analyze, and implement product designs through all lifecycle phases.
• Plan and manage multiple projects, schedules, budgets, and milestones.
• Develop design standards and engineering documentation per ASME Y14.5 and Y14.34.
