Job summary

Eaton Corporation's Aerospace division seeks a Lead Electronics Engineer to drive end-to-end hardware development for a broad range of aerospace products, from concept through certification and production support.

You will lead analog, digital, and mixed-signal designs, mentor junior engineers, and ensure designs meet stringent safety and regulatory requirements across multiple programs within FED’s electronics portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronics engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years in electronics hardware design.
• Experience with high-speed digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuits.
• U.S. person for export-controlled information eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead electronics hardware design from concept to production readiness.
• Develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for aerospace products.
• Coordinate with systems, mechanical, software, and project teams.
• Ensure designs meet RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD, and RTCA/DO-254 requirements.
• Create certification artifacts and support airworthiness activities.
• Hands-on schematic capture, PCB layout review, prototype builds and testing.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues in pilot runs and during production.
