Job summary

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is seeking a Lead Electronics Engineer to lead the design and development of aerospace electronic hardware. This role reports to the Engineering Manager, EE CoE and offers relocation.

The candidate will guide multiple programs from concept through certification, ensuring cross-program consistency and high reliability. The position emphasizes hands-on development, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring compliance with RTCA/DO‑160, MIL‑STD, and RTCA/DO‑254

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electronics engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics hardware design and development.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in high‑speed digital, analog, and mixed‑signal circuit design.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with microcontrollers, microprocessors, DSPs, and FPGA/SoC devices and their interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end development of electronic hardware for Aerospace division products, from concept to production readiness.
  • Coordinate with systems, mechanical, software engineers and project managers across programs.
  • Ensure designs meet RTCA/DO‑160, MIL‑STD and RTCA/DO‑254 standards and prepare certification artifacts.
  • Oversee hardware verification, testing (EMI/EMC, vibration, temperature), and design iterations.
