Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an engineer for the Compression Systems Engineering team. The role focuses on composite design support across the full design cycle, from concept through manufacturing, with responsibility for clarity, conformity to standards, and rigorous documentation.

You will lead multi-disciplinary projects, assess risks, and guide changes to reduce cost and schedule impact while ensuring manufacturability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years’ relevant experience, OR an Advanced Degree with 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Composite design support across all phases of the design cycle, from preliminary to detailed design and manufacturing.
• Design and implements common procedures and standard work to optimize efficiency and quality.
• Lead cross-functional engineering projects by managing scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
