Zusammenfassung

Serco is seeking an AEGIS Test & Evaluation Engineer to join the DDG 51 Combat Systems Integration Team in the Washington, DC area. You will develop and execute the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), create strategies, plans, and funding paths for each phase, and oversee budgets and cross‑organization coordination.

You will coordinate multiple engineering disciplines, advise on T&E developments, and ensure Navy ORD/CDD and TEMP requirements are demonstrated before OT&E and Fleet

Qualifikationen

• Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance.
• US Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent.
• 8 years of AEGIS experience.
• Experience leading projects coordinating design, integration, development, test, certification or delivery of surface ships.

Aufgaben

• Lead the management and technical discussion on SPY capabilities and maintenance for all AEGIS baselines in service.
• Ensure interoperability across software developments supporting AEGIS baselines in fleet and development.
• Recommend pathways to address technical and tactical issues of the DDG51 suite (AEGIS experience required).
• Lead the Test & Evaluation program for DDG 51 Flight III.
• Coordinate efforts across PEO IWS, MDA, DOT&E, COMOPTEVFOR and NAVSEA centers.
• Serve as expert advisor on test & evaluation strategy and implementation.
• Advise on TEST topics including Qualification, Developmental, Operational, Live Fire, Interoperability Testing and related accreditations.
• Represent the organization on T&E matters at meetings and conferences.
• Coordinate and review technical reports and recommendations; approve or disapprove major recommendations.
• Review test plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Advise Navy on planning, designing, conducting and reporting operations for system development.
• Ensure ORD/CDD and TEMP demonstrate requirements before OT&E and Fleet Introduction.
• Responsible for successful completion of ship certifications.
• Monitor and report on T&E costs, schedule and performance.
