Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an Acoustical Lead Consultant for a hybrid role across California offices (San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles, or Irvine). You will work on CEQA environmental noise assessments for infrastructure, data centers, renewable energy, ports, and transportation, engaging with clients and delivering rigorous acoustical analyses.

Responsibilities include project execution, modeling, report and fee estimate preparation, and coordination with CEQA agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience in acoustical consulting for environmental noise assessments.
• CEQA knowledge including IS/EIR processes.
• Strong written and oral communication and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Support acoustical projects and client relationships.
• Develop and implement project execution approaches.
• Support analyses related to environmental noise surveys, sound level analyses, modeling, and mitigation design/specification.
• Prepare reports, proposals and fee estimates for clients.
• Review and interpret local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
