Job summary

Ramboll in California seeks an Acoustical Lead Consultant to manage project execution, client relations, and analytical work across CEQA noise assessments for infrastructure, data centers, energy, ports, and transport sectors.

You will contribute to bid proposals, perform modeling, and ensure regulatory compliance, joining Ramboll’s Environment & Health division in a hybrid California setting.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics related major with 6+ years in acoustical consulting, CEQA experience preferred.
• Experience with California CEQA environmental review processes (IS/EIR) and LORS assessments.
• Strong spreadsheet, modeling, and software tool skills with good written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Support acoustical consulting projects and client relationships.
• Develop and implement project execution approaches.
• Perform environmental noise analyses and computer modeling (CadnaA, SoundPlan).
• Prepare reports, proposals, and fee estimates for clients.
• Review and interpret local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
