Job summary

Ramboll US Corporation in California invites an experienced Acoustical Lead Consultant to join our Environment & Health team. You will lead acoustical projects, interact with clients, and contribute to CEQA environmental noise assessments across infrastructure, data centers, and transportation.

The role requires CEQA experience, strong modeling skills (CadnaA or SoundPlan), and coordination with lead agencies. You will develop project approaches and prepare reports and fee estimates.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in an Engineering, Science, or Mathematics related major plus 6 or more years of acoustical consulting experience; CEQA experience preferred.
• Practical knowledge of CEQA review process incl. IS and EIR.
• LORS assessment experience incl. Caltrans and CEC; familiarity with related standards.

Responsibilities

• Support acoustical consulting projects and client relationships.
• Develop and implement project execution approaches.
• Support analyses related to environmental noise surveys, modeling, and mitigation design/specification.
• Prepare reports, proposals, and fee estimates.
• Review and interpret local, state, federal environmental regulations.
