Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an Acoustical Lead Consultant for a hybrid California position (SF/Oakland/LA/Irvine). The role focuses on CEQA noise assessments, project execution, and client relations.

You will perform modeling, reports, and regulatory reviews while contributing to sustainable infrastructure and energy projects. Requires 6+ years in acoustical consulting with CEQA experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics with 6+ years in acoustical consulting.
• CEQA environment al noise assessment experience (2+ years).
• Knowledge of CEQA process including IS and EIR.
• LORS experience including Caltrans/CEC.
• Strong spreadsheet, noise modeling, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support acoustical projects and client relationships.
• Develop and implement project execution approaches.
• Support analyses related to environmental noise surveys, sound level analyses, modeling (CadnaA, SoundPlan) and mitigation design.
• Prepare reports, proposals and fee estimates for clients.
• Review local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
