K Group Companies in Minneapolis seeks a Field Service Technician Level II to lead installation teams, configure and commission a range of devices and management platforms, and train customers on basic operations. You will mentor Level I installers, coordinate with project staff, and ensure successful deployment of nurse call, CCTV, and access control projects across diverse

Qualifications

• 1+ year of construction trade experience
• Advanced knowledge of electricity (high and/or low voltage)
• Hands-on/field experience
• Basic telecommunication knowledge (TCP/IP, general networking, VoIP)
• Ability to read architectural drawings
• Team management/supervisor experience
• Previous experience with service ticketing processes
• 1+ year knowledge in fire, CCTV, intrusion, nurse call systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid US Driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Execute Level I duties per official documentation and uphold high installation standards.
• Lead installation teams and delegate tasks to match capabilities.
• Mentor Level I installers and solicit feedback for improvement.
• Establish clear communication with Project Delivery Coordinators, PMs, and customers.
• Perform FAT and system commissioning to ensure quality and performance.
• Configure and program devices and management platforms for diverse projects.
• Work with nurse call, access control, and video surveillance systems.
• Accept additional duties as needed to support operations.
