Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Engineer to join the CAD/CAM team in the United States.

You will design and optimize high-efficiency CNC programs for complex multi-axis setups and high-temperature superalloys, using Vericut for virtual validation and NX-CAM for program generation. You will mentor technicians on the shop floor, integrate new multi-million-dollar machines, and drive process improvements to safety, quality and cost.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or equivalent with CAM programming experience (3 years) or High School with 6+ years CAM programming experience.
Experience creating 5-axis programs using CAM (NX preferred).
Proficiency with high-precision multi-axis machining and machine tool controls.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize high-efficiency CNC programs for complex multi-axis setups cutting high-temperature superalloys.
Use Vericut to validate code and optimize toolpaths in a virtual environment before shop floor execution.
Develop adaptive probing routines and closed-loop machining processes to ensure first-piece success.
Partner with Manufacturing Engineers to integrate new multi-million-dollar machines and establish machining standards.
Mentor floor technicians, troubleshoot setups, and transfer knowledge across the team.
Generate and support CNC programs for NX-CAM or similar software, covering milling, turning, grinding and EDM as needed.
