Oregon State University Division of Extension and Engagement seeks a 4-H Program Coordinator to lead the Morrow County 4-H Youth Development Program. The role focuses on coordinating non-credit educational experiences for youth and volunteers across clubs, camps, and community programs.

You will collaborate with volunteers, schools, and local leaders, driving outreach, program delivery, and continuous improvement while promoting inclusive, youth-centered learning across the county.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in youth development, volunteer development, education, family sciences, natural resources, agricultural or animal sciences, leadership, management, communications, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience with adult volunteers.
• Experience teaching, designing or developing Extension or youth-focused educational programs.
• Proficiency with computers, information technology, and office software.
• Experience leading groups.
• Experience engaging youth aged 5–19.
• Ability to plan, organize, evaluate, manage, resolve conflicts and delegate program details.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse audiences.
• Ability to learn/deliver digital tools (web, email, social media, collaboration platforms).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Commitment to inclusive, respectful learning environments.

Responsabilidades

• Provide overall leadership for the Morrow County 4-H Youth Development Program.
• Expand visibility and participation in 4-H through outreach, marketing, and communication.
• Develop, deliver, and evaluate research-based non-credit educational programs for youth and adult volunteers.
• Provide educational experiences through clubs, camps, school enrichment, after-school programs, workshops, leadership development, and special interest programs.
• Foster a work environment that values respect, inclusion, collaboration with diverse backgrounds.
• Develop and maintain annual work plans, program evaluations, and impact reports.
• Use adaptive management and leadership to supervise volunteers and OSU staff with diverse identities.
