Job summary

The University of Missouri Extension, 4-H Center for Youth Development in Osage County, seeks an Educational Program Associate I to support 4-H Youth Development programs in Linn, MO. You will assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering evidence-based curricula and activities that promote leadership, citizenship, and healthy living.

Under supervision of the Field Specialist, you will build community partnerships, recruit volunteers, manage events, and report results to funders.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent required.
• Experience in youth development or 4-H programs preferred.
• Ability to travel and work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for positive youth development in the community.
• Build external partnerships to grow the 4-H program.
• Coordinate curriculum planning, delivery, and evaluation of 4-H curricula.
• Manage educational events, contests, camps, and programs.
• Report accomplishments to supervisor, funders, and stakeholders.
• Maintain records and support 4-H youth development programs.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
• Travel as needed and work flexible hours.
