Job summary

University of Missouri-Columbia is hiring an Educational Program Associate I to support MU Extension's 4-H Youth Development programs in Dent County, Salem, MO.

The role entails coordinating education events, building partnerships, and engaging volunteers while promoting positive youth development and leadership opportunities for youth across delivery modes. Some travel and flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education/experience is required.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends.
• Experience with building partnerships and community engagement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for positive youth development in MU Extension activities.
• Build external partnerships with schools, community centers and youth-serving organizations.
• Coordinate and plan programs, including marketing, implementation and evaluation of curricula.
• Manage volunteers and community partners to support 4-H programs.
• Record keeping and reporting of accomplishments and impacts.
