Job summary

AMD is seeking a highly capable engineer to join a fast-paced team responsible for integrating third-party Memory/Serdes PHY and mixed-signal IP across AMD products in Austin, TX. You will own IP-related activities from architecture through post-silicon validation and production, partnering with vendors and internal teams to ensure successful integration.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with high-speed mixed-signal IP, system-level architecture, and hands-on lab skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Experience designing high-speed mixed-signal IP.
• Knowledge of IP integration into SoCs and related verification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the AMD technical owner for selected third-party Memory/Serdes PHY and mixed-signal IP across multiple product programs.
• Provide technical leadership for IP/PHY from architecture to production.
• Collaborate with third-party IP vendors for IP evaluation, design transfer, and integration into AMD SoCs.
