Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is seeking a skilled engineer for leading third-party SERDES IP integration and post-silicon support. You will work with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure robust electrical, logical, and physical integration across AMD products.

The role requires experience with interfaces such as PCIe, USB, DisplayPort/HDMI, MIPI, and UCIe, plus strong analog/mixed-signal design fundamentals and scripting in Python.

Qualifications

• Experience with third-party SERDES IP integration and support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the AMD technical owner for various third-party SERDES IPs and provide leadership.
• Collaborate with IP vendors for design transfer and collateral.
• Partner with integration teams to ensure electrical, logical, and physical quality.
• Support IC package and PCB design teams with signal and power integrity analyses.
• Evaluate new IP for licensing potential.
• Provide post-silicon support including bring-up and validation.
• Contribute to post-silicon learnings for future SERDES IP designs.
