Job summary

NYU Law Library is seeking a Systems & Technology Librarian to administer library systems, websites, and related hardware. The role supports innovative technology initiatives in collaboration with the Technology & Digital Initiatives (TDI) team and reports to the ADT.

The successful candidate will lead system upgrades, supervise the virtual help desk, provide training, and partner with IT and other departments to enhance services for students and faculty.

Qualifications

• Experience administering library technologies (ILS, discovery tools, authentication).
• Ability to manage website content and collaborate with IT and communications teams.
• Familiarity with library systems and customer/staff training.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration and maintenance of core library technologies (ILS, discovery tools, authentication).
• Maintain and update Law Library website content in collaboration with Law IT and Communications.
• Oversee software/hardware like ILLiad, LibraryH3lp, SpringShare, scanners, and circulating tech.
• Manage virtual help desk workflows, user support, issue triage, and escalation.
• Create training materials and online guides to support technology use.
