Brooklyn Law School is seeking a Systems & Emerging Technologies Librarian to manage the library's systems, hardware, software, web services, and applications, including Koha and authentication platforms. The role collaborates with Acquisitions and IT to steward electronic resources and supports staff, faculty, and students in using library technologies.

The position reports to the Director of the Library and supports data analysis, digital collections, and instructional technology.

Qualifications

• MLS or equivalent from an ALA-accredited library school.
• Ability to learn and apply library technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with legal electronic information resources is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage and configure library systems, hardware, software, web services, and applications (Koha, EBSCO Discovery Service, OpenAthens).
• Oversee acquisition and lifecycle of electronic resources and authentication platforms.
• Provide training and support for emerging library technologies.
• Collaborate with campus IT and vendors to maintain infrastructure.
• Support digital collections management and institutional repository.
