Job Summary


A busy professional law office in Orlando, FL is seeking a Law Firm Receptionist to serve as the welcoming first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers. This role offers the chance to build administrative experience in the legal services industry while working with attorneys and office staff in a supportive, team-oriented setting. No prior legal experience is required, making this a strong opportunity for someone with front desk, receptionist, or customer-facing administrative experience who is eager to learn and grow.


Key Responsibilities


  • Greet clients, visitors, and guests in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner.

  • Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls while responding to general inquiries appropriately.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.

  • Coordinate appointments, conference room use, mail, packages, and deliveries as needed.

  • Assist with scanning, copying, filing, document organization, data entry, and general office support.

  • Maintain confidentiality when handling client information, office documents, and sensitive communications.


Compensation and Benefits


  • Compensation range provided: $16.00 to $17.00.

  • Direct hire opportunity.


Required Qualifications and Skills


  • Serve as the primary front desk contact for clients, visitors, callers, and internal staff.

  • Support day-to-day office operations through scheduling, phone coverage, mail handling, and administrative assistance.

  • Maintain organized records, reception workflows, and confidential client-related information.

  • 1+ year of front desk, receptionist, customer service, or customer-facing administrative experience required.

  • Professional, friendly, dependable, and polished communication style.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and visitors.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy office environment.

  • Comfortable answering phones, routing calls, and handling general inquiries.

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Prior law firm or legal office experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Experience supporting attorneys, professional services teams, or client-facing office environments is helpful.

  • Interest in growing administrative skills within a professional legal services setting.
