Job summary

JGS Leavitt Family Jewish Home in Massachusetts is seeking a Laundry Assistant to join our compassionate care team. This full-time role offers steady shifts, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities to contribute to a clean, safe resident environment.

You will sort, wash, dry, fold and deliver laundry; maintain the laundry area; follow infection-control procedures; and communicate clearly in English. 18+ age required; prior laundry/housekeeping in healthcare preferred; weekend/holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in housekeeping/laundry in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English - both verbally and written.

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver clean laundry according to facility procedures.
• Collect soiled linens, towels, and resident clothing from designated areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry area and operate equipment properly.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and confidentiality procedures when handling laundry.

$16.00 - $18.00/hour, based on experience
Full-Time
Shifts Available: 5:30AM - 1:30PM or 6:30AM - 2:30PM | weekend and holiday rotations
