Job summary

JGS Leavitt Family Jewish Home in Massachusetts is seeking a Laundry Assistant to support daily operations in the facility's laundry area. The role involves sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering clean laundry according to procedures, with relevant shifts and weekend/holiday rotations.

The ideal candidate is 18+, can communicate in English, and has prior housekeeping/laundry experience in healthcare or senior living settings.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in housekeeping/laundry in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English - both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver clean laundry according to facility procedures.
• Collect soiled linens, towels, and resident clothing from designated areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry area and operate equipment properly.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and confidentiality procedures when handling laundry.

Full-Time
Shifts Available: 5:30AM - 1:30PM or 6:30AM - 2:30PM | weekend and holiday rotations
