Job summary

JGS Leavitt Family Jewish Home is hiring a part-time housekeeper. Earn $16.00-$18.00 per hour based on experience. Shifts include 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM, with weekend and holiday rotations.

• Experience in housekeeping or senior living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in resident rooms and common areas, following established sanitation and infection-control standards.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and waste removal.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and according to facility policies and manufacturer guidelines.
• Interact with residents in a respectful, courteous, and compassionate manner, supporting their comfort and dignity.
• Report maintenance needs, safety hazards, or unusual resident concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Comply with all safety regulations, confidentiality requirements, and community policies.
