Job summary

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.
  • 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Passion for aerospace vehicle structural loads and related analysis.
  • Finite Element Modeling experience.
  • NASTRAN and MATLAB proficiency.
  • Ability to solve static and dynamic structural problems using physics-based methods.
  • Ability to present data for engineering applications.
  • U.S. citizen/national or lawful status to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Launch vehicle CLA development and execution with cross-discipline inputs.
  • Document and communicate CLA results for various customers.
  • Develop, refine, and correlate FE models to modal tests.
  • Reduce FE models using Component Modal Synthesis methods.
  • Develop general loads for launch vehicles and ground systems.
  • Create mathematical models and simulations for loads analysis.
  • Manage large datasets and post-process data for engineering use.
