Job summary

Compass Pathways plc in the United States seeks a Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of a novel mental health therapy at certified treatment centers. This field-based role requires building strong physician and provider partnerships while aligning with regulatory and patient access frameworks.

The candidate will work across clinical education, account management, and patient access, supporting a successful market launch and ongoing access strategies. Travel up to 70% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience in specialty or complex therapeutic areas.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical reimbursement, prior authorization, and payer processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and health systems.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant education to providers.
• Identify suitable patients and guide referrals and pathways.
• Collaborate with treatment sites to optimize delivery workflows and onboarding.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics and patient access challenges.
• Communicate field insights to inform brand strategy and launch plans.
• Manage territory planning, call cadence, and performance tracking.
