Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Regional Head of Compliance for Latin America to oversee payments, lending, and other regulated activities across Brazil, Mexico, Chile, and Argentina. You will report to the Head of Compliance, Global Payment, and define a scalable, risk-based regulatory framework aligned with TikTok's global standards.

You will lead licensing initiatives (IFPE, Regulated SOFOM, EMI, SCD), engage regulators across LATAM, and collaborate with Product, Legal, Risk, and Engineering to enable

Qualifications

• 5+ years in progressive compliance roles within payments, fintech, or financial services.
• Deep LATAM regulatory knowledge, especially Brazil and Mexico.
• Experience obtaining licenses (EMI, SOFOM, licensing) and supervisory coordination.
• Ability to engage credibly with regulators and manage examinations.
• Strong understanding of AML/CFT and data privacy in LATAM.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the regional Head of Compliance for LATAM with end-to-end oversight.
• Lead the region’s regulatory and licensing strategy across multiple markets.
• Engage regulators and supervisory authorities across LATAM.
• Design and implement a scalable, risk-based compliance framework.
• Partner with Product, Payments, Legal, Risk, and Engineering on regulatory feasibility.
• Monitor AML/CFT, consumer protection, privacy, licensing, and resilience.
• Own regulatory examinations, audits, and remediation planning.
