Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Proven in-house experience with a multinational company, possessing expertise in sanctions, AML, Bank Secrecy Act, payments, and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical abilities and judgment in complex regulatory issues; ability to explain regulatory impact to the business.
• High ethics, willingness to learn, and strong client-service orientation.
• Strong oral and written communication: ability to engage diverse audiences and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and influence a culture of compliance across the organization and support AML/CTF program operations.
• Advise on global AML and sanctions laws; drive compliance initiatives and programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement monitoring, analysis, and reporting of suspicious activity.
• Work with government relations on regulatory changes or revisions to AML/sanctions areas.
• Maintain and improve AML/CTF policies and procedures; conduct internal training as needed.
