Job summary

RXO, Inc. in Ohio seeks a Last Mile Operations Manager to oversee daily carrier operations, plan routes with route software, monitor performance, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries across our network across North America.

You will mentor staff, recruit and train, enforce company policies, and resolve issues while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The role offers competitive pay and robust benefits, with growth opportunities within RXO's expanding network.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related logistics and supervisory experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of contract carriers, including scheduling and route monitoring.
• Develop and mentor staff; train on policies and procedures.
• Manage interviewing, hiring, and disciplinary processes.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse policies, procedures, and programs.
• Supervise employees per policies and laws, including performance reviews.
• Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes.
• Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve daily issues.
• Identify areas to restructure routes for efficiency gains.
• Train carriers and dispatchers to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately within timeframes.
• Ensure photos are taken for every job.
• Allocate resources as needed.
